Linking 3+ Powers Together
What's the right way of building a set of powers, say, a Blast, a Drain, and a Transform, that must all be used at the same time, or not at all? It seems obvious to me that Linked is going to be involved in some way, but it's not clear to me what combination of links you would use and on which powers.

Resource Point Cost for Extra Clips
Hello everyone, ive been trying to find the answer to this for hours. Combed through the APG 1+2, and the Equipment Guide. I can not figure this out... Im starting a monster hunter (van helsing, witcher, castlevania style) campaign with my group. We mutually decided on using Resource Points for our equipment, that worked well in a Fantasy game we just finished. But this question came up. How much does a "clip" (or equivalent amount of bullets for a full reload) cost? Say, on a given mission, our gunslinger decides to bring four reloads worth of bullets with him? Should the gun with the appropriate amount of clips just be mathed out each time? Does the li…

Does the Images Power Require the Mobile Advantage?
Say I had used an Images (Sight Group) power with a 4 meter area of effect to create the image of a marching soldier. Would I need the Mobile advantage for my power for him to march more than 4 meters away from his starting position?

Drain and Absorb
Hello! Relatively new to Hero and had a question about how to do a thing! Apologies if it's been asked 800 times before! I want a Drain power that sucks Body from the victim, but want the points drained to be able to do add to an Endurance Reservoir. How do I do this? It feels like a pretty standard iteration of Absorb that is linked (perhaps jointly) to the Drain. Any help is much appreciated! Nick

Time Limit, constant, persistent, etc.
I have been working with Time Limit a decent bit recently on various fantasy type powers. Time Limit on a Constant power or an Instant Power with Duration Advantage: Constant is an advantage that essentially makes a power Persistent for a limited time period. As noted on 6E1, 346, making a power Persistent is a +1/4 advantage and even the lowest Extra Phase value for Time Limit is the same as that, so GM's may wish to cap it there. I'll probably be falling into that later camp, but that's not my question here. The primary advantage granted by Persistent is to keep the power going even if the character is knocked out (or runs out of Endurance if it is required …

Killing Attack Stun Modifier & Hit Locations
I am a little confused as to how the Stun Multiplier on the Hit Location chart works in 6e. With 6e, we now only roll a 1/2d6 for the Stun Multiplier on KA (a nice change for sure). However even though this is the case, the STUN mods on the hit location chart still go up to x5. Is this working as intended as just a special benefit for the extra complexity of the Hit Location chart? Is there an alternate chart published in one of the other sourcebooks that gives an alternate chart if we did not want to have such heavy multipliers?

Flight, Megascale and FTL travel
I was looking up a vehicle with flight and FTL travel, and found something surprising : If I buy Flight 1m, Megascale 1m = 100 billion light-years and costs no end, I get something faster than FTL travel at less cost. Is it legal/intended ?

STR and affect physical world
I am building a poltergeist, so I would like for it to be able to manipulate things as desolidified, as it is is normal state (it as costs no end, allways on and inherent). Now is the problem : it says that I mus buy the "Affect physical world" as an advantage on his strength. What if I want to keep the 10 points base strength ? Does it cost 0 ? Or do I need to consider that I have to buy the advantage for those 10 base points, hence a cost of 20 ? And I can extend the question if I want to buy more Strength points : do I need to buy the advantage only on the point I buy, or on the 10 base points too ? I have only the Champions complete book, no other book of…

Can martial arts maneuvers be improved?
On pg 94 of the martial arts book it gives point costs to build maneuvers. Now I build a maneuver which has +2 OCV and +1 DCV, this costs 3 points now since the maximum amount of points a maneuver can have is 5 can I buy 2 more points of elements to the maneuver with exp or must I buy a whole new maneuver?

BODY of Water?
Hey fellow gamers, ive got something to run past you all. I apologize if this has been asked/explained before, but my google-fu seems to be running weak today, and i simply cant seem to find the appropriate places in the rule books. I also am using this site on mobile, so i apologize if im in the wrong place for posting this, or if i have some spelling errors. My group has had a revitalized feeling for Avatar: The Last Airbender and wish to play a campaign. Trying to bring the world to life in a Heroic setting, i want to bring a sense of realism and balance. My only real road block at the moment is water. The waterbenders of the Avatar…

Is d6-1 in KAs really 10 points (2 DCs)?
In 6e1 242 Sidebar, the semiautomatic .45 handgun has an active cost of 34. When I tried to duplicate that in Hero Designer, it came up with an active cost of 31 (25 x 1.25 = 31.25 rounded to 31). This is where I have the problem. I reverse engineered the active cost of the handgun and came up with an original cost of 27 for 2d6-1 (27 x 1.25 = 33.75 rounded to 34). Now for the question: Is the sidebar correct where d6-1 is +12 points (making 2d6-1 27 points)? or the main text of the power correct where 1 DC is +1 (5 points) and 2 DCs is 1/2d6 or 1d6-1 (10 points) (from table on page 462). P.S. Even the Equipment Guide uses +12 points for d6-1.…

Reduced Penetration Confusion
Reduced Penetration says, "splits the attack into two equal parts..." It seems by the example, it splits the dice and not the DCs. My problem is how to split something odd like 1 1/2 d6 HKA into two equal parts. By the rule, it should be two 3/4 d6 HKAs, but Hero System doesn't deal with anything other than 1/2s.

Darkness affect on a super team mindlink
Hello, We had a darkness that also affected sight, mental senses and sonar tossed on our hero group and the GM also suppressed our Team Mindlink that was previously established prior to entering the darkness. Since darkness just suppresses the senses I would have thought I could not initiate a mindscan or mindlink while in the darkness, but that a mindlink previously established would still be in effect since mental AOE blast powers centered on me still worked. Or maybe iit does suppress the mindlink while we are in teh darkness sincce it acts like a sense? Any thoughts from the Champions community on whether the GM went overboard or would that be considered a standar…

Usually, this refers to Crush: Does Must Follow Grab mean the target is still grabbed? The answer has been Yes. Does this apply to Grappling Throw as well? And if they are still grabbed, can they effectively be thrown again?

How would you build this? (Not Quite Engaged/Berserk Complication)
Feedback on the below would be helpful and appreciated: A character has a multiform--a huge jaguar. After she transforms from a human into the jaguar, the jaguar personality takes over, which is sentient and loosely connected to the human character. So there is some loss of control, but she's not "Enraged." Like the Hulk in the recent Marvel movies, it's difficult for her to transform back into her human form. It's effortful and external factors can help to make it more likely (e.g., friends' encouragement). So, the idea is that she can change into the jaguar willingly, but it entails some risks--in terms of the personality change and the difficulty in transfo…

Clinging Damage Shield effects?
6E1p182 includes the following text: What does being "stuck to" a character in this manner actually do in game terms? For example: How would this construct interact with Accessible Foci (somebody hits Glue Boy with a sword), Inaccessible Foci (Wrist-Gun-Man punches Glue Boy), or powers with a specific point of origin (Drillfinger stabs Glue Boy)? How would this construct interact with movement? Can the clingee and clinger move relative to each other at all? Can they force each other to move? If yes, where and what are the rules for that? How would this construct interact with Knockback? Particularly if the attack that triggers the Damage Shield…

HKA Problem???
On 6E2 260 (example character) you have Hur’shaas's claws as "Claws: HKA 1 point (½d6 with STR) Reduced Penetration (-¼)" According to the rule on 6E1 242, you add +1d6 (or 3 DCs) per 15 STR (or 1 DC/5 STR). If this is the case, then shouldn't the claws be "Claws: HKA 1 point (1d6+1 with STR) Reduced Penetration (-¼)"? I can't find anywhere that adding STR is limited to double the DCs of the HKA (like previous editions). EDIT: Never mind. I found the errata for this. Since this is the case then Hur’shaas's write up should be errata'd for his claw attack.

Rogue Template
6E1 37 The rogue template has a hunted by fellow rogues (infreq, watched, as pow) for 5 points. However, that is not correct. From the table on 424: As Powerful: 10 Infrequent: +0 Watched: -10 Total: 0 There is no errata for this yet.
