What is his Roomsweeper? Is it like Neo in the Matrix with his power bubble when he was in the hallway?

I recently read an alternate history short story in which a young Donald Trump attends the historic 1951 playoff game between the Giants and the Dodgers* and catches the game winning home run ball. The attention, this being the first nationally televised baseball game, causes him to become obsessed with baseball. For the rest of his life he brags about the amazing catch that nobody else could have made and the multimillion dollar offers he receives for the ball. He buys the Mets and builds them a new stadium (Trump Field, naturally). Baseball becomes the focus of his life. It made me think. In a superhero universe that incorporates real-life people, what …

Does anyone remember the super speed villain known as, "The Dash?" and where his game stats are published? I have Classic Enemies for 4th Edition, Enemies III for 3rd Edition, and Enemies II for 1st/2nd Edition with no sign of him. I remember him being featured in an issue of Flare in the early 1990s and reading his stats at one point for 3rd Edition (I think) but can't recall the publication.

Pretty much what it says up there. Been looking for a fan build and not had any luck. Also, are there any PC level builds that would be similar?

What is the easiest way to do a Damage Shield (from 4th Edition) in 6th Edition? Is there a rule I am missing somewhere?

Anyone know a easy way to make a list of powers for a VPP? My wife has a 240 point VPP, with 120 point Control Cost. Per my notes from our last game, I should have taken the advice from the book and pre-made several powers, so we were not having to do so "on the fly". Anyone know an easy way to make a list of powers? I have a spreadsheet of the character sheet, which does some of the math for you, and I have Hero Designer - I thought of just expanding the power list from the spreadsheet, to take up a whole sheet of paper (though clunky), or was wondering if there was an easy way to do it in Hero Designer? Or, if anyone else knows of another way …

As a GM I want to see if others think this is fair, even if it bends the rule. A character in a standard 400 Champions 6 Edition game who is Martial Artist wants a motorcyle that has a 50 m x4 NCM speed. They want to to be able to react at their DEX, OCV, DCV,and SPD which would cost upwards of 50 CP. This is another offer for 28 CP: Motorcycle: Running 50m, x4 Noncombat (69 Active Points); OAF (-1), Only On Appropriate Terrain (-1/2), 1 Continuing Fuel Charge lasting 6 Hours (+1/4) Obviosuly the full vechile rules should be used if you are buulding the Bat mobile or a Fighter jet, but is there any reason not to allow this. It see…

Regular rats and termites are already annoying enough, but what might it be like to have an enhanced infestation of some kind? They don’t necessarily have to have full-on bulletproof superpowers. How about a hive of termites with a sentient Queen controlling them, or rats with minor gremlin abilities to disrupt things? Dealing with a sentient termite swarm might not need Mighty Man to solve it, but it would seem like PRIMUS of UNTIL might need to be called in, or someone with a bit more ability than the local exterminator. Does this sort of thing get mentioned in the CU anywhere? Pest control might make for an interesting super agents or low-level …

Prompted by finding an embarrassingly-significant mistake in Champions Complete's description of Pushing in Heroic campaigns (noted below 🤦🏼♂️) , I'm putting together a list of errata for CC. A few known issues are listed below; no need to report these again. But if you've noticed others, please comment below or shoot me a PM, and I'll include them in the list I'm compiling. Known Errors: p20: For Pushing in Heroic campaigns, the second sentence should say, "The character gains 5 CP to the ability if the EGO Roll succeeds, +1 more CP per point he makes the roll by." p91: Should specify the value of the "Gate" Limitation for Teleport (-1/2). p97…

For more publicity-minded types, I could picture many superhumans becoming a big part of the online media culture, especially since that subculture seems to contain elements of Hollywood, professional wrestling and sports megastars. Even those that are not directly involved in such things, I'm sure they would have followers who would be. Some supervillains might enjoy having huge online fan clubs rivaling those of superheroes. In the CU, I could see Foxbat livestreaming his crimes for the notoriety even if he doesn't get to monetize his crimes. He would probably even be a very active participant in the forums discussing his activities. I imagine him also being…

So, have a new campaign starting Saturday (05/29) and I have the first few games planned out - I also have the campaign-long concept planned <link>; what I need some assistance with will be the "normal games" that fill in the campaign. What kind of "'normal games" or filler games, would makes sense for two cosmic-powered supers? One is a hyper-flying energy shooter (Binary/Silver Surfer), the other is a cosmic powered martial/brick. In a "normal" campaign; it's fairly easy - bad guys are robbing a bank, or blowing something up, or stealing a super-weapon, etc. A little harder for me to come up with the run-a-the-mill cosmic-level "normal ga…

Here's the link to my write-ups for various DC Heroes for 6th Edition. They are in Excel format with supporting HDC files for the following characters: Aquaman, Batman, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Firestorm, Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan and Arisia Rrab), Maxima, Power Girl, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Enjoy! 🙂 DC Heroes 6th Edition

Given that not every major disaster that happens in the world (earthquake, typhoon, hurricane, flooding, etc) will be stopped by superheroes, what resources might exist at the government or NGO level to deal with the aftermath that don’t exist in the real world? For example, what exists in the CU?

My son and I are playing a 4-color hero campaign of which some of you have been quite helpful in putting together. Tonight he encountered 4 thugs chasing a girl down the street. The thugs of course were gaining quickly. He was watching the city from the edge of a 5 story building when he saw this. The character he is running is basically a reskin of Eraserhead from My Hero Academia. In his opening maneuver he swings down from the roof using a conveniently placed flagpole and his capture bands and makes a suitable landing. The thugs are unimpressed and proceed to attack. In his 1st phase he uses the capture bands to grab 2 of the thugs and throw them into a nearby wa…

I know there is a description of their colors, but is there any art of Dendrians? I can't find any good reference pictures out there even in the books.

If you could be any alien character what would you look like? What powers and abilities would you have as this alien being? As an alien I would be an Xaukvad which is a race of aliens I created. I would have at least all the abilities and powers that I listed below. Physical Description: He is a humanoid male with four arms that towers a full eight feet in height. His body has smooth featureless luminescent ultramarine skin that has a rubber texture and is completely devoid of hair. His large head is attached to a long, flexible neck. Growing of out of the back of his head are six tentacles that each measures a foot in length. He has two eyes locate…

OK, so I'm (re)starting a Champions campaign, based on my Earth, 2030 setting <link>; my plan, is after getting the players to settle into their cosmic-powered characters with a few "normal" games, I'll start to seed the campaign with minions of the Empress coming to Earth (and perhaps the other two alien's systems) to find "something" (the MacGuffin(s). These are to serve the same purpose as the Infinity Stones in the MCU or the Mother Boxes in the DCEU; very powerful items, the heroes do not want the Empress to have. I plan to try to keep the MacGuffins secret for as long as possible, having the players uncover that there is an actual consp…

My understanding is that The Guardians (Marksman, Gargoyle, Icestar, etc.) had their HQ in the top floor of the Henderson Electronics building (or top two floors). I'm trying to use their real history for inspiration. Did they have a team transport? (Like a quinjet or X-Men's Lockheed?) Some sources say they were based in San Francisco...? I have found write-ups for them on this forum, which is cool, but I'm looking for trivia around details about how they operated day-to-day. Anyone got any intel?

I'm running an invasion by Istvatha V'han. I know what I want their overall goal to be and even some of their immediate secondary goals, but I'm having a bit of trouble figure out how they are going to execute this invasion on an operational level. Are they just going to wipe out the military, occupy population centers, or what? I can't see resources being a big issue for them. My initial thoughts is that they're going to hit major population centers as a show of force, but probably not occupy them per se. Military targets would probably be mostly air bases. One thing I plan is that they're hitting the world's super prisons to try and recruit all the paranormals for the I…

I have several DC, Marvel, and other comic universe character write-ups that I previously used at game conventions for players to select and use for the session. Some may be interested in downloading for themselves. Do I post them here or in the downloads section?

In the Champions universe setting has their been a superhero team based in the Dallas - Fort Worth Texas area? In any of the different editions? If yes I would like to know what book(s) the team is mentioned in. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering, I will be running Microfilm Madness and they mention UNTIL agents but I don't see any sourcebooks that have UNTIL writeups. Is there something I am missing?

So I'll start right off with the elevator pitch: Scorch is a ghost. Previously the fire-using heroine Firebomb (F-Bomb to certain close friends) she overloaded her powers to create an explosion big and hot enough to immolate a cloud of airborne bio-warfare nastiness when a certain villain's plot was not quite foiled in time, her only remnant a shadow etched into the sidewalk and up a wall. Some time later, however, that shadow peeled away... and Summer awakened to find herself in a strange twilight existence, less than paper-thin and able to stretch long distances like, well, a shadow on the wall. Despite this mostly immaterial nature she still interacts norma…

With everyone walking around with smartphones that not only connect to the internet, but play music, are telephones, and have cameras, flashlights, and can pick up any radio station around the world which broadcasts on the internet... are the radio senses in Enhanced Senses even a power any longer? I mean, I know they run out of batteries, cannot always get connection, and are a fragile OAF but still...
