Tonights game involves some dark magic turning the President's daughters and three of their friends into felinoid animals. Of course the five of them go beserk and rampage through town. To try and make them each a little different, I set up a chart for making them each a little different based on how I rolled. Barbara Bush has a 7 OCV / 7 DCV with 6 levels of Combat Skill Levels with all combat. One of the random girls managed to rack herself up to 7 SPD. Incidently Jenna Bush is rather bland. But should they succeed, the POTUS will issue an Executive Order making the Greek a US Citizen.

Hi guys, hoping some of the better HeroClix modders on the board can help me with something I've been wondering about (Yes Bill, Prod and RedMenace, this one is directed to you and all of the others who participated in the recent figure contest!). Basically, I'm wondering how best to remove the cape from one figure for use in a mod I'm working on. I know people do this regularly (particularly with the Dr. Doom and Clayface figures), but I'm afraid of damaging the cape during removal. Next game session should wrap up the "Martian" invasion of 1938. I'm expecting lots of alien-property damage -- not only does the team include two bricks, but I'm letting the players run the tank unit that's coming in from the other direction as well. (I figure having to fight off an invasion force should have some impact on US military tactics, and this is the fairest way I can think of to determine what changes the Army will go into WWII with.) It occured to me on the way home that, as always assuming the PCs win, I've got the perfect setup to create Bulldozer. Someone's got to clean up the fight scene, after all. OK, I've made plenty of Champions characters, but I'm building one with an Elemental Control framework for the first time. Can you experts help me build the following powers into a wind-based EC? (There's an 80-point ceiling on AP.) I've had a character with a gun multipower before (each slot representing different clips) but I haven't played in a while so need some help reconstructing it. I buy the pool with 'OAF: Gun' and 'Takes 1/2 a phase to switch slots' (though I can't remember how much that's worth - anyone?) I then buy ultra-slots as 'OIF: Clip of AP rounds' (or whatever), right? If I want to make all the slots 'Beam Attack', do I put that on the pool, the slots, or both? Thanks all, Col. Orange

Hey everyone. I am trying to build a spell that would cause a target to suffer penalties to his skills and/or attribute and/or combat rolls because he is suffering from cold. It is an Ice Mage's spell and I was originally thinking of a change environment with temperature change and penalties to attribute rolls but I ran into the problem of having the effect follow the victim wherever he/she went. It has to be something that will only stop when dispelled, so persistant and uncontrolled. Thanks all

My Champs GM has recently started using the following as a sort of superheroic Deck of Many Things: http://www.ihero.net/tarot.html It's a tarot deck illustrated with characters from iHero Entertainment's Cyber Age Adventures. The cards are vey high-quality and the art is great. My GM basically lets you opt to draw a card instead of getting XP for a session. Each of the cards has been assigned a different type of bennie, form +20 COM for a game day to a one-time teleport to anywhere in the campiagn world. Viper campaign? I’m thinking of running a short campaign or story arc in my standard Super/Hero game where the PC’s play viper agents straight out of Viper training school taking up position in a new nest somewhere. The spiel I will use with the players is that I want them to see life from the other side of the coin. In reality one new recruit will be a F.I.S.T. (think UNTIL) agent trying to infiltrate Viper and bring down as many Viper operatives as possible. I'm looking to make an anti-mutant collar that will shut down the powers of any mutant wearing it. Now I know it needs to be built with Suppress built with a Focus, what I'm talking about is the other aspect of it. The collar is not an Entangle, as it does not hamper movement or restrict the limbs, yet it cannot be easily removed by the target, either... THAT is the part I need to know how to build. Any ideas?

No, I'm not trying to write up Pokemon in Hero5, but it alas is the best (and widely known) example for me to use; so please bear with me. How would you write up a creature that can be "sealed away", but only after it's been "worn down"?? In Pokemon, you can't hope to capture one just by tossing a pokeball at it; first you have to battle it, then, when it's weak (HPs in the red), that's when you toss the pokeball. I need to simulate this in my upcoming campaign. Any ideas? -Yogzilla

Hi folks! It's been close to 13 years since I last played Champions, but I was recently asked to play in a game. So I dug out my books (4th Ed Hero System) and tried making a character. I figured the GM will help me tweak things to 5th Ed Revised once I am done. My problem is I am not sure if I am figuring the Multipower correctly. What event or series of events could cause a global backslide in the technology (about 30-50 years) without causing a massive population die off or razing most of civilization to the ground. Cities would still be intact, but most of the high tech (most electronics) would be non functional. Rubber science is fine (this is a Chamopions setting) but some quasi realism would be good.

Ok, I am about to school some youngin's about how to build a proper radio setup in Champions. In trying to do so I have now somehow raised more questions i my own mind. So I need a second or third or... opinions First: Why is it that If I transmit over HRRH my fellow Heroes have to make Radio PER rolls, with range mods, to hear me? If they don't, why not? PER rolls, not to pick up my freq., but just to hear my message. What about cross town? Hello. This is the place I am going to start posting charaters (heros, villiens, and others) from my own privet stash of stuff. Feal free to use them in your own campain, or even coment on them. Help me out, I'd like to design a powerful TK EC or MP for Magneto, but he seems to be able to use it on anybody, despite the magnetic special effect. So w/out crippling him against non-ferrous material, how would you showcase his magneticness. I also don't want him to be too insanely powerful. How does AE TK work? How about TK only to lift/grab? He's also going to be sporting a physical lim to the effect of loses powers in environment absent of metal. Anyway, how would you do it? I hate whatever I come up with and he always ends up being way too point heavy.
